Cleanse For Life (powder) - It's tropical flavored. The taste itself isn't bad, it's just very dry and I would suggest using as little water as possible - 4oz at the least. It does taste better if you use more water, but by the time you get halfway through you'll be gagging and not wanting to finish. It's better if you mix 2 scoops with 4oz of water and chug it down.

Chocolate Shake - If you just mix the shake and water, it tastes okay at first. It's not very sweet and the chocolate flavor is really mild. It's also REALLY thick because of the protein. In my opinion, it's better to use a blender and add some ice in addition to the water - this adds some texture, keeps the shake cold longer (tastes awful as it gets warm), and makes it a little less thick. If you need a better taste, you can add a variety of things such as sugar free/light chocolate syrup, peanut butter, strawberries, banana, or all-natural sweetener.

Vanilla Shake - Same as the above, except it has less flavor when made plain. I like it better though, because you can mix in a larger variety of things. I've heard it's awesome if you blend in a slim cake - tastes like a cookie! You can also mix in a whole banana and a graham cracker - tastes like banana creme pie. You can mix in some whole, canned pumpkin; some pumpkin pie spice; and a graham cracker - tastes like pumpkin pie!

IsaDelights - They're pretty good for "diet chocolates". They taste awesome on a cleanse day, when you're not eating like you normally would. It's like eating very dark chocolate - they're a little chalky feeling on your fingers, but you don't feel any chalkiness in your mouth.

IsaPro - This is an unflavored protein powder. You can add it to your IsaLean Shake or any other drink. I would suggest that you add it to smoothies or chocolate milk. When added to the shakes, it kinda kills the flavor. Keep this in mind when you add it to something. I've also mixed it into some Carnation Instant Breakfast - it doesn't really change the taste, but it does make it a little thicker, and it tastes awful when it gets warm, which doesn't usually bother me without the IsaPro. This would also work well if mixed into a yogurt smoothie, as the yogurt is strong enough that the IsaPro won't kill the taste. It's not that the IsaPro makes things taste bad, it just dilutes the taste down enough that it doesn't taste the way it should.

This is what

Ok, so here's what's happened since last time I posted:

I found out I was cleansing ALL wrong, first of all. The point behind cleansing is to rid your body of impurities and toxins as well as maintaining your blood sugar throughout the day. You CAN eat, just not much at one time. You want to keep your body in a "cleansing" phase, not a "digesting" phase. If you put too much in your stomach at one time, your body is focused on digesting and not cleansing.

So, you should space your snacks throughout the day - especially the snacks with more natural sugar like apples and the IsaDelights. It's also very important to drink A LOT of water.

As for the shakes, they do taste MUCH better when blended in a blender - though I think I like the vanilla flavor better as you can blend in a bigger variety of things. I really like to blend in some frozen strawberries, half a banana, and some plain yogurt - tastes almost like a smoothie you would get from a restaurant!

I'm considering doing a daily cleanse (drinking one scoop with 4oz of water once daily) instead of doing the whole "cleanse day" thing. I'm going to try one more cleanse day - using the tips above - and see how it goe
